Who We Are

We are a traffic and pedestrian data collection firm located in Western Massachusetts. 
Although we spend most days performing turning movement counts, automatic traffic recorders and doing queue studies, we have also had the opportunity to be part of large projects. 
Innovative Data has been part of several NCHRP and NHTSA projects as well being contracted by local towns and cities and at the state level. We have also been contracted by small, large,and international engineering firms.  We have had repeat customers request counts for large, nationally known corporations for renovations of their existing facilities or when in the process of acquiring new locations. 
Our reliable and dependable technicians are key to our success. We have a large group that has been with us since the beginning of Data, Inc (our previous company), in 2005. Quite often, we hire retired firefighters, police officers, and teachers as well as local undergraduate and graduate students that are studying in the engineering major. ​​Beth Knodler has been the owner of Innovative Data, LLC since July 1, 2009 when it was incorporated. Previous to starting Innovative Data, she owned DATA, Inc. from 2005 until 2009. When not working, Beth is busy with family and driving her kids around to music, sports, and dance. She enjoys camping, photography, traveling, reading, knitting, and spending time with family.
